Kerstin Knabenbauer

Kerstin Knabenbauer studied law and business administration at the University of Stockholm (Sweden) and at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and completed her Master’s degree (LL.M) at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

From 2000 to 2017, Ms Knabenbauer worked for a global medical physics company in Middle Franconia in various positions as a data protection officer and as an HR manager in Germany as well as Scandinavia.

Since 2018, Ms Knabenbauer has been running her own HR management platform in Germany, which enables small and medium-sized companies to share services on highly qualified operational and strategic HR management.

At the Institute for Sustainability, Ms Knabenbauer focuses on sustainable HR management in the context of digitalisation. Her focus is on digital solutions and their impact on performance management, competence development & salary transparency as well as health management. In particular, she focuses on tried and tested models from Scandinavia and their transferability to the German labour market.
